Lydiard Coach (coached by, taught by), Bruce has been a valuable club member competing and has coached for the New Zealand Commonwealth games team in 1990 and 1994. He is a retired physio. Bruce is a Life Member of the University Club

Craig Motley- Distance
Craig has had a huge influence on the success of the club in recent years coaching and advising many members. Craig is the national endurance manager for Athletics NZ and the Rio2016 project. Craig is currently based in Timaru.

Lyndon Fraser
Sprints
Lyndon was selected for the Athletics New Zealand Pathway to Podium (P2P) programme in 2019 and as Lead Coach for the New Zealand Junior Men's 4 x 400m relay team as part of the Relay Futures programme (to 2020). He has been involved with sprinters (and middle distance athletes) who have won national titles and represented New Zealand at the IAAF World U20 Championships and Oceania Regional Championships.
Lyndon works at the University of Canterbury and coaches sprints (100/200/400), as well as assisting with speed development among athletes in sports such as cricket.
His favourite athletes include Cathy Freeman, Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Usain Bolt, Elaine Thompson, Michael Johnson, Toni Hodgkinson, and NZ Paralympian Liam Malone.
